At Osh we decide to hitchhike to Bishkek. The M41 is the only road going to Bishkek and there is lots of truck traffic from doing the route Osh_Bishkek-Osh all the time. We printed the names of some key points on the way and we left to the adventure. The journey took 2 days, otherwise, it normally takes 10 hours even if the distance is not more than 600kms. This is because the route specially just getting to Bishkek is very curvy and through mountains, passing elevations of more than 3500 mts at times.

The views on the road are pretty magic: from capped snow mountains peaks, to burgundy giant rocky mountains and green fields with beautiful tall and shiny horses. I have experimented hitchhiking in Kyrgyzstan and it worked well. It s pretty easy and safe to travel so there. On the way, and while we were getting the tent ready for the night, we were offered to stay at this little wood house in front of the beautiful Kyrgyz Toktogul Lake.
